Ocala Auto Repair is expanding our team! Family owned and operated we’re looking for a Service Advisor to join our team. Must be friendly, outgoing, well organized and a quick problem solver. Job Type: Full-time preferred
Responsibilities include:
- Greet customers and carefully record the customer’s concerns to generate an accurate work order. Track the status of open repair orders during the day keeping both the customers and dispatcher updated with approvals and delays.
- Obtain the training necessary to know what is covered under warranty.
- Perform regular and scheduled contacts with previous customers and make appointments for maintenance items.
- Make sure all customers have been notified when ordered parts arrive and schedule an appointment to have the work done.
- Notify customers that their vehicles are ready for pickup, payment & close tickets.
- Explain repair order charges to customers and promptly notify the service manager of any customer service problems.
- Strive to meet management’s metrics for sales per repair order, total gross profit, repair orders per day, and customer satisfaction scores.
Job requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a service advisor role strongly preferred.
- Auto parts experience with an understanding of the inner working of cars
- A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to providing a great customer experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Solid comprehension, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, ability to work under pressure

Parts Manager
Job Type: Part time/Full-time
Responsibilities include:
- Manage parts inventory
- Manage parts orders
- Assist service department technicians with parts
- Vendor management
- Review and maintain proper inventory levels
- Follow up and escalate issues or disruptions in supply chain
- Demonstrate capabilities of managing intercompany relationships to the betterment of the company
- Ensure accuracy of inventory records and provide guidance and forethought leaders of the organization.
- Drive a Continuous Improvement between suppliers and facilities
- Comply with safety standards and requirements to ensure a safe and hazard free environment
- Manage key metrics for inventory
- Maintain compliance all with Federal, State, and Local laws, statutes, and regulations, as well as all Company policies and procedures
